Product Description
EC1 welding electrode is a kind of cast iron electrode with low-carbon steel core wire and strong graphitization type coating.The weld can become gray cast iron when cooled slowly. The crack-resistance is worse. AC/DC. The price is lower.

Notes: 
1. The electrodes must be baked under about 150ºC for an hour before welding.
2. For some key casting structures receiving stress, impact, etc., this kind of electrodes are not suitable.
3. The flawon the low rigidity surfaces of little thin section castings can be given repair welding without preheating. However, general weldments need to be preheated to 400ºC and given insulation work and slow cooling after welding so that the repaired places may be able to be given.
