Description
ER 4043(Al-Si5) is one of the oldest and most widely used welding and brazing alloys. Chuanwang er4043 can be classified as a general purpose type filler alloy. It is widely used in welding of 6061, 6XXX series aluminum alloy, 3XXX series and 2XXX series aluminum and alloys.

Usage
Used as filling material for argon arc welding and gas welding of aluminum alloy workpieces and castings except aluminum magnesium alloy. Commonly used in 6000 series of 6061 aluminum alloy, 3000 series and 2000 series aluminum alloy and cast aluminum welding. Widely used in railway locomotive, chemical, food and other industries.

Notes:
1.Although aluminum-silicon welding wire has strong crack resistance, but poor plasticity, so the need for plastic deformation after welding processing of the joint, should avoid using aluminum-silicon welding wire.
2.Before welding should be strictly clean the workpiece welding edge of the oxide and oil.
3.Welding can be used to hold the molten metal pad to ensure the formation of the weld.
