Product Description

Stainless steel E308/E308L-16 is used in a variety of applications such as welding different types of steel. This grade has excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance. Stainless steel E308/E308L-16 electrodes are resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. This welding electrode is ideal for high temperature environments. It also has excellent heat and crack resistance.

Application :
    It is suitable for welding structures fabricated by extra-low carbon 022Cr-19Ni10 stainless steel,such as synthetic fibre,fertilizer,
petrochemical equipment, etc

1.  Electrodes must be baked for 1 hour at 250-300°C before welding.
2.  Do clean up the rusty, oil scale,water and other impurities on welding parts.
3.  Short arc operation is required when welding  and the small current is better.
